Shopify Integration

Automatically create certificates when orders are fulfilled

1Get Your Webhook URL

First, go to your Dashboard → Integrations page and copy your unique Shopify webhook URL. It looks like this:

https://getissued.com/api/webhook/shopify/sk_live_your_api_key

2Create a Webhook in Shopify

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin
  2. Go to Settings → Notifications
  3. Scroll down to Webhooks and click "Create webhook"
  4. Select event: Order fulfillment (or "Order creation" if you want certificates immediately)
  5. Format: JSON
  6. Paste your webhook URL from step 1
  7. Click Save

3Test It!

Create a test order in Shopify and mark it as fulfilled. Within seconds, you should see a new certificate appear in your GetIssued dashboard.

💡 Tip: Use Shopify's "Send test notification" button to test without creating a real order.

What Gets Created?

When Shopify sends an order, we automatically create a certificate with:

  • Product Name — From the first line item
  • Brand — From the product vendor
  • Model — From variant title (if any)
  • Order Number — e.g., #1234
  • Customer Email & Name — From billing info

Note: Product images are not included via webhooks. You can add them manually in your dashboard after creation.
